Ooredoo has signed an settlement with the Ministry of Endowments and Non secular Affairs to undertake and optimize synthetic intelligence (AI) applied sciences for Large Knowledge and the Web of Issues (IoT).

The partnership, which was signed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Salmi, Minister of Endowments and Non secular Affairs, and Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Wahaibi, Director of Enterprise and Wholesale at Ooredoo, goals to extend the effectivity and productiveness of the ministry’s day by day operations by implementing a piece plan in three phases over six months.

Al-Wahaibi stated: “We’re proud to have been chosen by the Ministry as their digital companion of selection. Utilizing our superior fiber community, we will help the Ministry in attaining its goals, streamlining on-line operations and managing asset information to extend effectivity with the most recent AI applied sciences, safely and securely.

The primary section of the mission will intention to create an analytical system for the Ministry’s digital operations by establishing a Knowledge Warehouse. This may retailer all types of operational data, in the end creating what is named a Knowledge Lake. This may permit for simpler searches and evaluation.

Within the second section of the settlement, Ooredoo will set up a knowledge administration system for all mosques and belongings registered inside the Ministry via IoT. Utilizing particular algorithms, this analytical system will embody all data associated to the day by day operations of those belongings, resembling upkeep schedules and electrical energy and water consumption ranges.
